Unsettled day across Newfoundland & Labrador

Posted by on Wednesday, February 3, 2016

Thursday will be an unsettled day across Newfoundland and Labrador as a system pushes through.

For Newfoundland most areas will begin the day with snow. Snow started along the West Coast early this morning. A transition to rain is expected for all areas of Newfoundland. The heaviest rain will fall along the south coast of the Island where 20- 30 mm is possible.

More specific details regarding your location can be found on the Newfoundland Forecast Page.

In Labrador it won't be rain that will cause problems but rather snow. For most areas anywhere from 5 to as much as 15 cm is possible.

Gusty winds will also accompany this system.
