Unsettled along East Coast

Posted by on Saturday, March 19, 2016

It will be a fairly unsettled day across the Eastern United States with rain and snow on the menu for many areas. By Sunday morning snow will begin across parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic.

Precipitation will be in the form of rain across parts of the Tennessee Valley and Southern Ohio Valley eastward to the Southern Mid-Atlantic. Rain will continue in these areas through late Sunday night and remain along parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday morning.

Furthermore, the snow will end over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley/Western Ohio Valley by Sunday evening.

Snow will develop over parts of Southern New England by Sunday evening and move into Northern New England overnight Sunday into Monday morning.  The snow will be limited to parts of the Central Appalachians and Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday morning, too.
