United States & Caribbean Could Face Tropical Threat

Posted by on Friday, September 23, 2016

Parts of the United States and the Caribbean could face a tropical threat next week.

We are watching for an area of low pressure that could become tropical storm by Monday.

The low has the potential to strengthen and could hit Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Cuba before making its way to either central America or the U.S. within the next week to week and a half.

It is too early to say for sure if the storm will develop into a tropical storm or hurricane and where it will hit.

An emphasis should be put on time. This situation has yet to unfold and interests in those areas should monitor the weather over the next week or so as a lot can change.

The next name on the list of Atlantic hurricanes for this season is Matthew.
