Two Planes Collide at Pearson Airport

Two planes collided with each-other at Toronto's Pearson airport tonight.

The Greater Toronto Airport Authority said that a WestJet plane and a Sunwing plane hit each-other.

WestJet Boeing 737-800 aircraft was carrying 168 passengers and 6 crew. The plane was not moving and was waiting to head to the gate.

The passengers were evacuated. There were no injuries.

There was no passengers on the Sunwing aircraft. It was being towed by a ground crew.

The Sunwing plane caught fire.

An investigation is underway.
