Two Lows to Put Damper on Weekend Plans in Atlantic Canada

Another pair of low pressure systems will push across Atlantic Canada beginning on Friday.

The low will bring rain, snow, and strong wind depending on where you are.

New Brunswick: The heaviest rain will fall over eastern sections of the province. Current indications are that 50 to 70 mm are possible. It will begin on Friday and Continue through Saturday. 

Prince Edward Island: Friday and Saturday the Island could pick up 50 to 70 mm of rain. Very strong winds are possible on Sunday.

Nova Scotia: 50 to 70 mm of rain is possible across the province. Winds will be gusty as well.

Newfoundland and Labrador: Saturday and Sunday heavy rain is possible across the Island. The heaviest rain is expected along the south and west coast. Strong winds are also expected. Labrador will see a mix of rain and snow. We will begin to see snow and ice pellets, before a changeover to freezing rain and then rain over southeastern Labrador.
