An area of low pressure will move across Newfoundland and Labrador on Friday.

It appears as though most of the province will see snow from this system.

There may be some mixing along the southwest coast.

Just as that system pulls away, a secondary low will approach from the Maritimes.

This low will being a rain-snow mix to western and central Newfoundland, and rain to the Avalon.

While it is still too early to give specific precipitation amounts, there could be some moderate amounts of snow Friday and Saturday.
