SPUR, Texas — Kelley Gene Williamson, 57, and Randall Delane
Yarnall, 55, both of Cassville, Missouri, and Corbin Lee Jaeger, 25, of Peoria,
Arizona have been identified as the three storm chasers who died in an accident
Two of the storm chasers, Williamson and Yarnall, were contractors
for the U.S. based weather channel.
They were killed in a collision near Spur, about 90 kilometers
southeast of Lubbock.
Sgt. John Gonzalez from the Department of Public Safety says
a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Williamson ran a stop sign and hit a Jeep that
was driven by Jaeger.
All three were killed instantly.
