Thousands of Golf Balls Found in Ocean

Pebble Beach Golf Course, located on the coast of California is a popular golf course that receives many golfers every year.

Since it is located along the coast, many golf balls end up in the ocean.

One teen, Alex Weber, has found a solution. As a diver, he dives to the ocean floor near the golf course and collects the golf balls.

As of 2018, he, and his group theplasticpick-up.org has recovered 50,000 golf balls and are planning to work with environmental artist Ethan Estess to create a piece of art that can be used educationally.
