The Ontario Story: Snow Squalls & Minus 40 Wind Chill

Snow squall warnings continue southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay this morning.

Lake effect flurries and local snow squalls will continue today with another 15 cm possible before this afternoon.

On Thursday the snow squall risk continues over Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Snowfall accumulation up to 10 cm is possible.

Meanwhile in extreme southwestern Ontario an area of low pressure could spread 10 to 15 cm of snow today.

In Northeastern Ontario and North of Superior this morning there were wind chill values near minus 35. In Far Northern Ontario wind chills of minus 40 were reached.

Wind chill values on Thursday will be similar.
