An area of low pressure will move just off the coast of Nova Scotia on Sunday night.

The low will spread snow across most of Eastern New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Most of Nova Scotia will see snow as well, however, there is the possibility of some snow mixing with rain in Northern sections of the province.

By Sunday night the low will spread snow in to Newfoundland. Across the Avalon snow will be short-lived very quickly changing over to rain with the risk of ice pellets in freezing rain.

In central Newfoundland the snow will change to freezing rain or ice pellets and Western Newfoundland will see snow.
The snow will change over to ice pellets in some areas and Western Newfoundland along with portions of Southern Labrador couldn't was significant amounts of snow.

There will also be strong winds to contend with with gusts to 100 km/h possible in some areas.
