The Halloween Nor'easter of 1921

It was October 30, 1921, that a nor'easter slammed into Newfoundland.

In Harbor Breton, three churches were destroyed long with telegraph lines.

Two people were killed on a fishing schooner while 12 crew members abandoned ship near Pilley's Island.

Many fishermen lost their gear from fishing on Labrador's coast.
