Known as Thor's Well, located in Cape Perpetua, Oregon, is a giant hole that looks like it is stealing water from the Pacific Ocean.

Thor's Well is in fact a collapsed sea-cave. As water comes in it over the collapsed sea-cave it is swallowed by the gaping hole that remains.

It is not in any way draining the Pacific Ocean, it only drops about 20 feet.

Take a look at his video from September 2013.

Cape Perpetua is a large forested headland on the central Oregon Coast which projects into the Pacific Ocean. The land is managed by the United States Forest Service as part of the Siuslaw National Forest.
