The Disaster No One Is Talking About

Posted by on Tuesday, August 16, 2016

There is a historic weather event happening and no one is talking about it.

The American Red Cross tweeted that they are responding to the most significant weather disaster since Hurricane Sandy.

That event is the Louisiana flooding.

So far four people have died and more than 7,000 people have been rescued after the state was hit by over 400 mm of rain in 24 hours.

It was reported as much as 270 mm of rain fell on Baton Rouge in just 24 hours, and as much as 400 mm elsewhere in the state in Livingston.

Coffins were floating down street as the devastating  floods uprooted caskets from a graveyard.
