Temperature Records Fall Across the Maritimes

Tuesday was another warm one across the Maritime Provinces.

In Nova Scotia several stations set a daily maximum temperature records.

Cheticamp 
New record of 28.2 
Old record of 26.7 set in 1976 
Records in this area have been kept since 1956 

Port Hawkesbury 
New record of 29.3 
Old record of 28.9 set in 1962 
Records in this area have been kept since 1875 

Yarmouth 
New record of 26.9 
Old record of 26.1 set in 1891 
Records in this area have been kept since 1879

It was a similar story for New Brunswick with Miscou Island setting a new record of 27.8. The old record of 27.4 was set in 2004. Records in this area have been kept since 1957 .

On Prince Edward Island St. Peters set a new record of 29.0. The old record of 28.3 was set in 1977. Records in this area have been kept since 1960.
