Temperature Records Broken in Newfoundland and Labrador

Aside from the heavy rain in Newfoundland and Labrador there is also warm temperatures.

In Labrador there were daily maximum temperature record on January 12, 2018.

Churchill Falls set a new record of 3.8. The old record of 3.2 was set in 1983. 

Mary's Harbour got up to 6.9. The old record of 6.0 was set in 1983.

Wabush Lake set a new record of 3.8. Old record of -0.4 was set in 1980.

In Newfoundland, Badger set a new record of 10.7. The old record of 8.0 was set in 2014.

In Deer Lake the old record of 10.2 set in 1983 was beat by the new record of 11.0.

La Scie set a new record of 9.7. The old record of 7.6 was set in 2014.

Finally in St. Anthony a new record of 9.0 was set, taking the old record of 6.0 set in 1983 off the books.
