An area of low pressure will push across Atlantic Canada beginning on Tuesday night and continuing through Wednesday for some areas.

There remains a high amount of uncertainty with this low and precipitation amounts.

Right now it looks like the heaviest rain will fall over eastern Nova Scotia, Central Newfoundland and the Avalon.

The low may undergo some intensification as it moves off the Atlantic Coast which would result in higher amounts.

If that doesn't happen, rainfall amounts may just amount to a few showers.

We are continuing to watch this low.

It looks like another system could bring some rain to Atlantic Canada this weekend.
