Strong Winds Kill 1 in Northeast

Strong winds in the northeastern United States have caused a death.

A man was killed on Wednesday when a roof collapsed on him.

The strong winds cause widespread power outages on Wednesday. By Thursday morning there were still 150,000 homes and businesses without power.

There was also other widespread damage.

A roof was blown off of a barn in New York and a boy in New York City was hit by a street sign that fell.

There was also more than 500 flights cancelled.
