A new area of low pressure is expected to develop in Alberta tonight and track northeastward.

Over southeastern Manitoba, later on Wednesday, strong southerly winds gusting to 60 km/h are possible.

Additionally it will bring some mixed precipitation to Manitoba Wednesday into Thursday.

Freezing rain is likely before a switch over to potentially 10+ cm of snow by Friday as the low moves into Hudson Bay.
