It is expected to be quite an active day across parts of the southern and central Plains into the middle Mississippi Valley.

Severe thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging winds, large to very large hail, and a couple of tornadoes will be possible. Isolated severe storms may also develop across parts of the Midwest, with hail and damaging winds the primary threat.

More active weather is expected on Thursday with severe thunderstorms from parts of the southern Plains to the mid Missouri and Mississippi Valleys. These storms will be capable of large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes.

By the time we get to Friday we still won't be out of the woods with strong to severe storms expected across parts of Texas on Friday that will be capable of large hail and damaging winds. Severe storms are also possible in the lower Ohio Valley to New England.
