An area of low pressure will expand rapidly on Wednesday night off the Coast of the United States.

On Thursday night the low will pass over the Maritime Provinces and Newfoundland.

There remains considerable uncertainty regarding the exact track of the low.

Models are indicating very strong wind, snow, ice pellets, and rain.

Exactly who will get what remains to accurately be seen.

The low will also bring some much warmer temperatures.

If the system stays on its current track there will likely be cancellations at Marine Atlantic.
