Strong Earthquake in Papua New Guinea

There has been another earthquake in the Papua New Guinea area.

A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck at a depth of 39 km.

It was centered 164 km south-southwest of Rabaul, New Britain, Papua New Guinea.

This is the second strong earthquake in that region when a 5.9 in the Banda Sea happened about 6:30 pm Sunday.
