Stormy Weekend Ahead for Ontario

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Wednesday, June 1, 2016

A system will develop over the U. S. state of Montana on Thursday night.

From there the low tracks eastward and will gain some strength as it moves into northwestern Ontario on Friday night.

By Saturday, the low will tap into some moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. This will bring some warmer air into southern Ontario along with some rain as well. All this moisture in the air will provide the ingredients for some thunderstorms to develop on Sunday.

The low will linger over Ontario and move into Quebec and eventually the Maritime provinces by Monday and move into Newfoundland by Tuesday.
