Stormy Remembrance Day in NL

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Friday, November 10, 2017

The weather will not cooperate with Remembrance Day ceremonies across Newfoundland and Labrador.

For the Avalon some showers are likely with brisk winds.

Central Newfoundland will see some showers or flurries.

Along the West Coast and Great Northern Peninsula flurries will fly combined with gusty winds. As the cold wind blows over the warmer water there is a risk of snow squalls. Accumulations of 5 to 10 cm is possible in some areas.

In Labrador, Saturday will be a day to dig out with a chance of flurries.
