Storm Update for Newfoundland

Posted by on Tuesday, December 1, 2015
A couple of low pressure systems are expected to swing through Newfoundland Wednesday night through Friday.

Snowfall is most likely over Western Newfoundland and rainfall is for Eastern Newfoundland.

Across the east, Thursday night into Friday, temperatures are expected to fall. As a result heavy snow is possible.

During the changeover some freezing rain or ice pellets are not our of the question for the east coast.

10 mm of rain is possible for much of the Island. 5 to 15 cm of snow is also possible. As we get closer we will have a better idea on who will get what.
