Storm Tapering Off in Newfoundland

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Saturday, November 24, 2018

It may seem strange after four days but across most of western Newfoundland this morning there is no snow falling from the sky!

The center of the low is located just off the coast of Southeastern Labrador. It has a central minimum pressure of 976 mb.
Snow is still falling over the Great Northern Peninsula.

All of the snow across Newfoundland should come to an end by noon.

Gusty winds that is causing reduced visibility and blowing snow across western and the north coast of the Island will also diminish over the course of the morning.

We could still see another 5 to 10 cm before all is said and done.
