Things are slowly returning to normal after tornadoes ripped through portions of the National Capital Region on Friday.

As of Monday morning there were still approximately 3,600 Hydro Ottawa customers without power.

There are still four people in hospital. One is in critical condition and another is in serious condition. Several other people needed medical attention.

Any Ottawa residents who have been impacted by the power outage and are in need of food, water and shelter can call 311 and select option 4.

In Dunrobin 53 buildings are destroyed. 80 volunteers were being paired up with firefighters Monday to board up windows and doors.

In Gatineau, about 60 buildings were deemed unsafe. Of the 212 buildings evacuated, 153 are expected to be returned to their owners.
