Storm for the Prairies

Posted by on Monday, November 16, 2015

An Alberta Clipper will make its way across Saskatchewan on Wednesday. Heavy snow is likely for central portions of the province including Saskatoon.

Areas south of that will see a rain/snow mix. Strong winds will also be an issue. Winds may gust as high as 90 km/h or higher driving in from the north.

Manitoba will also get a taste of severe weather. By Wednesday night the Alberta Clipper will meet up with a Colorado Low.

A rain/snow mix will move across the province. There is also a risk of snow squalls over the Manitoba Lakes.
