Storm for Quebec & Atlantic Canada

The storms that brushed through Ontario on Tuesday night will have an impact on our weather in Quebec Wednesday.

Some areas will see about 5 mm of freezing rain, whereas other regions will receive 5 to 10 cm of snow. The snow is expected to arrive just in time for rush hour in the Metro Montréal area.

Precipitation will eventually change to rain for most areas.

The snow will move into New Brunswick on Wednesday evening bring snow changing to ice pellets to rain. Nova Scotia will see mostly rain and snow changing to ice pellets for Prince Edward Island.

In Newfoundland snow move in on Thursday morning changing to ice pellets of freezing rain and eventually rain.
