Storm for Nova Scotia

Posted by on Saturday, January 16, 2016

A low pressure system will track south of Nova Scotia late in the day today and tonight.

The low is expected to bring snow, freezing rain, and rain.

Freezing rain has started on the southern shore. It is expected to change to rain as the band of freezing rain moves northward. For some areas an extended period of freezing rain is likely.

The most snow will fall from Halifax County - east of Porters Lake  south to Lunenburg County where 20 centimeters is possible.
