Storm for Newfoundland on Thu to Sat

An area of low pressure will brush through Newfoundland on Thursday into Friday.

There is the possibility of significant snow and strong wind for the west coast and central Newfoundland. For the Avalon and eastern Newfoundland, snow will likely transition to rain.

There is still some uncertainty with regards to the exact track, however, we have crunched some numbers...

Corner Brook: 0 mm
St. Anthony: 0 mm
Snowfall Forecast
St. John's: 5 to 10 cm
Gander: 15 to 25 cm
Corner Brook: 10 to 15 cm
St. Anthony: 2 to 4 cm
Stormy conditions will continue through Saturday.
