Storm for Coastal Labrador

Posted by on Monday, January 18, 2016

As if Labrador hasn't received enough snow this year more snow, perhaps significant amounts, are possible by Wednesday night.

Coastal Labrador may be seeing snow, strong winds, and blowing snow due to a trough of low pressure that will move across the Labrador Sea on Wednesday.

Snowfall totals may hit 20 cm for coastal sections, and winds may gust as high as 80 km/h.

Weather will improve on Thursday morning as the trough moves south of Labrador.
