Storm Floods parts of California & Nevada

A massive snow storm over California and Nevada has flooded vineyards, cause rivers to burst their banks and prompted evacuations.

The Russian River in Northern California is at it's highest peak since 2006.

The Nevada National Guard deployed high-water vehicles to help people evacuate.

Schools have been closed, trees toppled, power was out in several areas. One woman was killed when a tree fell on her.
1,300 people were voluntarily evacuated in a Reno neighborhood as the Truckee River overflowed.

In the Sierra Nevada ski areas closed over the fear of avalanches.

The same areas receiving heavy rain was experiencing wildfires not too long ago, now there is a risk of mudslides.
