Storm Ends in Newfoundland, Continues in Labrador

All warnings have ended in Newfoundland.

In Labrador, there is a winter storm warning for Cartwright to Black Tickle, Norman Bay to Lodge Bay, and     Red Bay to L'Anse-au-Clair.    

Total snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm can be expected by early Tuesday.

There is a blowing snow advisory for Eagle River.

In Newfoundland, a couple of schools were closed Monday Morning.

Sunday was very stormy across Newfoundland with winds nearing 170 km/h in some areas. Western and Central Newfoundland received snow that changed to rain while the Avalon got mostly rain with some wet snow over higher elevations.
