Sticky Weather Continues in Atlantic Canada

To end off the month of July the heat and humidity continues across Atlantic Canada.

Daytime highs reaching 30 degrees across much of New Brunswick today with humidex values near 35.

On Prince Edward Island temperatures will reach 27 to 30 with humidex values near or above 33.

Highs reaching 30 degrees is expected across Nova Scotia today with humidex values near 33.

In Newfoundland and Labrador, areas under a heat warning will see temperatures of 26 to 30 degrees with humidex values of 30 to 35.

These hot conditions are expected to persist through this week at least.

The Royal St. John's Regatta is scheduled to take place tomorrow. Right now it looks like a green light, we expect mainly sunny skies with a high of 29 and a humidex of 35 with light winds.
