The harvest season in Alberta has been particularly bad this fall, so bad that now Lac Ste. Anne County has declared a state of agricultural disaster because of the wet weather.
Brazeau County in central Alberta has also declared a state of agricultural disaster.
In some cases over 80% of some crops remain unharvested.
The provincial and federal government will be notified.
It was a similar event in 2015 when the Alberta government declared an agricultural disaster.
