It looks like Southern Ontario may dodge a bit of a bullet from the remnants of Hurricane Florence.

Heavy rain will track northward today from the Carolina's delivering a soaking rain as it moves toward Southern Ontario.

The latest model guidance suggests that the heavy rain will actually fall south and east of Southern Ontario.

As a result significant rainfall is not expected in Southern Ontario.

The area from Niagara Falls to Hamilton could see a few millimeters of rain.
