Southern Alberta Looking at Significant Snow

Posted by on Saturday, May 21, 2016

Some areas of Alberta will see even more snow over the next 24 hours. In fact there is the possibility of 30 centimeters of snow once again for the Edson to Springbank regions. Even the City of Calgary could see some significant snowfall amounts.

The daytime high in Calgary on Sunday is just 5 degrees.

Most areas will initially see rain and the rain will then transition to snow.

Snow will begin to taper off on Sunday afternoon.

Gusty northwesterly winds are also expected.
