An area or low pressure moving onto the Pacific coast will deliver a snowstorm to the British Columbia Interior and Southern Alberta.

The storm has already had an impacting on the British Columbia Interior, leaving heavy snow behind.

In Alberta, significant snowfall is expected.

In the Calgary area about 25 to 35 centimetres of snow is possible.

The morning commute will be a mess.

In the mountain parks and along the foothills snowfall accumulations may reach 50 cm.

Heavy snow will continue through the day Thursday before beginning to gradually taper off Thursday evening.
