Although the U.S. National Hurricane Center is no longer issuing advisories on what was "potential tropical cyclone Ten", there is still a risk for some heavy rain in Newfoundland this weekend.

The low is expected to pass well south of the Island, along the Grand Banks on Friday.

At the same time an area of low pressure over Quebec will get better organized and is expected to move over Newfoundland on Friday Night and continue into Saturday.

Rainfall Forecast:
St. John's 2 to 5 mm
Marystown 1 mm
Gander 20 to 30 mm
Grand Falls-Windsor 40 to 50 mm
Corner Brook 20 to 30 mm
St. Anthony 5 to 10 mm
