Soaking for Saskatchewan and Manitoba by the weekend

Posted by on Wednesday, April 13, 2016

A low pressure system currently developing over the northwestern United States will move to lie over southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba by the weekend.

As it does so, it has the potential to deliver quite a bit of rain. In fact some areas may see 50 millimeters of rain, especially over southeastern Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba. There is some model guidance that suggests cold air will wrap around the system and could cause heavy snow for some areas.
