Snowy Day in Saskatchewan

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Wednesday, April 11, 2018

Today won't look like Spring across parts of Saskatchewan.

An Alberta Clipper system will push through central Saskatchewan and bring 5-10 cm of snow. It began early Wednesday morning. The snow will taper off Wednesday evening.

It isn't only snow but also there is a slight risk of freezing rain over southwestern sections along Highway 1.

We are also watching a system that will bring heavy snow from the Rockies to the Northern Plains and Great Lakes mid to late week. Precipitation may remain south of the border.

The good news is that temperatures warm up in most areas by the weekend.
