Snowiest Places in NL

Newfoundland get's its fair share of snow in the winter time. Some areas get more snow then one could possible need.

The snowiest place in Newfoundland and Labrador is Woody Point,  on the west coast with an average snowfall of 637.9 cm.

Not too far behind is St Anthony, with 543.7 cm. Followed by Main Brook, with 515.0 cm.

There were a few memorable storms also that dropped massive amounts of snow. on Febryary 5, 1988 in Main Brook, 105.0 cm of snow . On January 6, 1988 in Nain, 103.4 cm fell. Also on Febryary 17, 1943 101.6 cm fell in Colinet.
