Snowfall Totals and Peak Wind Gusts from NL Blizzard

Eastern Newfoundland was pounded by a blizzard on Saturday.

Some areas received heavy snow. Businesses were closed and roads were treacherous. There were also several power outages.

The weather deteriorated quickly over southeastern Newfoundland Saturday morning, with poor conditions persisting until midnight Saturday night. 

Environment Canada has released snowfall totals and peak wind gusts.
