Snow Squally Day

Snow squalls will continue to develop across the west coast of Newfoundland on Saturday.

Temperatures across the area dropped substantially over the past 24 hours.

Frigid temperatures over the west coast combined with sea temperatures near zero will provide a perfect setup for snow squalls.

If snow squalls don't develop, amounts of no more than 10 cm is expected. However in the heaviest snow squalls snowfall totals of 20 to 20 cm is possible before it ends on Sunday.

We may also see snow squalls setting up on the Burin Peninsula on Saturday as well.
