Snow Squalls Possible Across Bruce Peninsula and Georgian Bay

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Saturday, December 8, 2018

We may end up seeing some snow squalls once again on Saturday.

A snow squall risk exists across the Bruce Peninsula and southeast of Georgian Bay.

No significant snowfall amounts are expected with just 5 to 10 cm possible.

Snow squalls will taper off bu the evening and no snow squalls are expected on Sunday.

When cold air moves over the warmer water of the Great Lakes, convective clouds develop which cause heavy snow showers due to the large amount of moisture available.
