Snow Squalls Expected East of Lake Huron

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Sunday, January 27, 2019

Lake-effect flurries extending northeastward from Lake Erie are expected to end this morning.

Generally, 5 to 10 cm are possible by the time the snow ends. Roads could become snow covered and icy this morning.

Meanwhile, snow squall activity is expected to continue today for areas east of Lake Huron.

Today winds will become northwesterly. This will lead to snow squall development.

Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are possible by Sunday evening.
