There will likely be some snow squalls over the Manitoba Lakes on Wednesday.

A northwesterly flow over the region will combine with upper level temperatures dropping to around -15 degrees to produce unstable conditions over the lakes.

There is a possibility that some areas along the shores of the lakes could accumulate up to 15 cm of snow.

Anyone with travel plans should be prepared for winter driving conditions.

Snow will taper off to flurries for Thursday.
