Snow & Rain for NL

Posted by on Tuesday, January 10, 2017

An area of low pressure will push across Newfoundland and Labrador on Wednesday into Thursday.

The low will bring snow to Labrador. In the heaviest snow, amounts of 5 to 10 cm is expected.

In Newfoundland, we will see flurries to start changing to a rain-snow mix and eventually rain. Snowfall amounts of 3 to 7 cm is possible across western Newfoundland with trace amounts elsewhere.

We will see some gusty winds across the west coast, gusts up to about 80 km/h are expected.

It appears another low will bring rain to the Island on Friday.
