Snow Possible for Mountains of Wyoming

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Sunday, August 26, 2018

A cold from sinking south from western Canada may bring some snow to the mountains of Wyoming on Monday night.

Some areas above 6000 feet could see measurable snow, half an inch is possible in some areas.

Snow is not uncommon on higher peaks in August. Across the mountain chain precipitation ranges from 10 inches per year in the southern valleys to 60 inches per year locally in the northern peaks.
