Snow on June 26, What kind of sorcery is this?

Many areas of Newfoundland woke up to some not so nice weather this morning.

Rain in on the menu for today for basically all of the Island portion of the province. The Great Northern Peninsula will see a nice day however.

But over higher elevation along the southwest coast and in central Newfoundland we saw some snow.

Snow... with just five days left until July. Such is Newfoundland.

In Gander for June 26th the average high is 19.0°C and the average low is 7.8°C.

10 to 20 mm of rain is likely over the Avalon and Central with about 2 to 4 mm for the west coast.

In central some areas could end up with 15 cm of wet snow. The good news is that snow won't stick around too long.
